This Artwork was created during the Artist-In-Residence program with Annmarie Ciccarelli and art teachers Allison (Ali) Wilson, Debra Donowski and gifted support teacher Debbie Cechak. The students focused their work on unique techniques in texture and drawing Pennsylvania birds of the Susquehanna River.  The results of the Artist and Residence were amazing! There were over 200 mixed media paintings and a 30′ x 3′ long mural painted by the talented Art students of Tunkhannock Middle School.

For the third year in a row, we decided to do an encore Art Show outside of the middle school on location at the nearby Howland Preserve in the 1800’s draft horse barn. Come Celebrate the Arts and Earth Day at The North Branch Land Trust’s Howland Preserve. The talented Art students of the Tunkhannock Area Middle School showcased their artwork with an event conclusion of bird watching lead by The Endless Mountains Nature Center.
