Creating With the Masters

Creating With the Masters is a three-week immersion with master visual artists. Students will find the “master” within themselves as they create exceptional works of art. They will explore painting, drawing, mixed media, jewelry and sculpture. Students will create original works of art inspired by weekly themes with an emphasis on personal development and intensifying their portfolios.

Week three at the Everhart Museum

Explore the collection at the Everhart Museum while learning about preservation, history, and art. Museum instructors will lead hands-on experiments in preservation of objects and proper object handling techniques. Students will gain a better understanding of careers in art and museums. Each afternoon, participants will create artwork with a professional artist and by the end of the week, will research, create, and curate a miniature exhibit of their own!

Students may opt to attend Arts Alive Visual for one, two or three weeks. Week three of the program must be registered through The Everhart Museum. Call 570-346-7186 or visit everhart-museum.org for more details
